Does illegal immigration, racism, and white supremacy all connect in the United States of America? For most it may be easy to see how racism & white supremacy are connected, but is there any connection with those two also to the current immigration crisis we are seeing at the southern borders of the U.S.? Is there another agenda at work beyond racism or is there no connection at all? Let's exam this as I present my thoughts to you on it.
I believe in tough border security and immigration laws. However, chattel slavery was once a law or policy in the U.S.A which was legal too, but it was wrong and so were those who defended it. As a non-immigrant, black, slave descendant in America I don't personally champion immigration because it has been weaponized to be damaging to Black People overall, but we should never enforce or defend inhumane cruelty as policy or law. Much of what we're seeing at the U.S. southern border is more ethnically or racially based than folks realize.
Latinos were welcomed or allowed (even illegally) entry to minimize Blacks as the primary minority, but as their numbers have continually swelled they are being targeted as a problem akin to a leaking faucet which can't be plugged up. This has allowed the dominant society in America to make Black issues & concerns less important. If you don't believe me then as a personal project just chart the escalation of Black killings by law enforcement and otherwise as Black have been further displaced by gentrification in contrast to when Latinos/Hispanics surpassed Blacks as the largest minority in America.
Once you connect the dots then as the mythical detective Sherlock Holmes would say, "It's elementary my dear Watson." Ever notice how there are almost never any stories or political pundits ranting about the "illegals" who come in from Europe, Russia, or Asia on a regular basis? The illegals among them don't have the benefit of being land locked to our borders, so they come in on ships or planes where they are stowed away most often by others helping them with fake documentation. While this is ignored the general public is driven to be angry at other poor Latino & Brown skinned people.
The intent from one side (Conservatives) is to rile us up at one particular ethnic group as the problem by labeling them "illegals" and other negative stuff the same as constantly calling black men "thugs" to embed a stereotype in the public's mind that they're bad people. It's a very divisive tactic that works. Whites descended from the colonizers who stole this country are never addressed as the largest group of "illegals" in the U.S.A. The other side (Liberals) has our minds off of more important things for those of us already here who are still being mistreated, and fighting battles that aren't ours.
The dominant society of the U.S. has a history of creating or manufacturing crises it can't control, and then blaming it on the people it targeted while making themselves the victims. They've done it with slavery, colonization, and the stealing away of this country from it's original inhabitants. Just think about how often we still hear white people say that slavery was started by blacks and how they brought civilization to uncivilized people, or how they discovered lands where people had already established long thriving civilizations. The lies never stop.
Their "go to plan" has always been when things fail (and they will) to blame everyone else they've oppressed for not going along with their greedy plans for world domination. Why do you think the United States & Europe see the rise of China as such a threat? It's because China is asserting its own dominance in Asia while making deals in Africa and South America the same as they both have done all over the world. Woe be tide to the black, brown, red, or yellow nation who thinks they can dare ascend to the same level as pristine white society.
American Justice has never been colorblind, but it is very color conscious and full of racial bigotry. It is unrighteous in choosing to ignore certain groups to focus on more preferred ones while keeping the public in the dark and fooling us into making their case for them. The main ones duped in the U.S. are poor & rural whites who think these elite bigots champion their cause against other ethnic groups. Elite whites do not care for poor or middle class whites, but these poor & middle class whites keep voting for them. They've sown the seeds of their own destruction.
Once the public makes the same arguments for those in charge, then those truly in charge can run whatever agenda they have on auto-pilot, and continue to separate people by class into the rich & poor or the desirable & undesirable. This is the long game for how racism is used as a tool to bring in "classism" which will eliminate the middle class and put everyone into either the "haves" or "have nots". It's worst than racism, but those blinded by racism will never see it coming or believe you even if you tell or show them. This "triangle" is built to collapse on itself. ~ Mr. Blaktastic
